Fallingwater
In 1939, Frank Lloyd Wright designed Fallingwater. We went in August of 2018. It felt like we drove on some curvy roads, the landscape around was was quite lovely. After parking the car, we walked to get our tickets. You had to wait until it was your turn to go see the house but there was a cafe and gift shop that could be browsed. We walked down a long path and came upon the house. You were not allowed to take pictures inside the house. You could take them of the outside but not while you were on the balcony. There was a small waterfall just outside the house. It was easy to see why this location was chosen for a home away from home. The creek’s running water and the waterfall’s sounds were like listening to natures lullaby. After the tour of the house, there was another path where you could stop and take pictures. This path eventually lead to the parking area. If architecture is something you enjoy, this is a must see.
