Cross Country Trip

My husband and I have started our cross county trip. We are driving to Kansas City, then off to Denver. After that we are heading to Moab, Flagstaff, Lake Havasu, Las. Vegas, and Phoenix. I’m looking forward to sharing lots of pics.

 My family was looking for something a little low key compared to other vacations where we were constantly on the go. We decided Indiana Beach was what we were looking for. We planned our stay for 4 days. After looking at pricing options, we decided to just buy a season pass to use during our trip. My husband and one of our kids love roller coasters, mega coasters, rides that will flip you upside down, that isn’t my speed. I enjoy old carnival type amusement rides, like Ferris Wheels in which you will see a lot of pics of throughout my blog. While they don’t have mega coasters, there were a few roller coasters that we all enjoyed such as the Hoosier Express or Cornball Express. I very much enjoy rides like the Music Express, Scrambler, and Tilt o Whirl.  The food was reminiscent of foods that you would find at a fair. Just about everything was fried. Bermuda Day One

Last year my husband and I celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We decided our destination to celebrate would be Bermuda. I fell in love with this island. Everywhere you look there is a beautiful view nearby. Our first day we arrived and we were greeted by our taxi driver, who drove us to the resort we were staying at, Cambridge Beaches. Our taxi driver told us different things about the island and pointed out different landmarks.  It was like we had our own personal tour of the island. I mentioned that I liked all the colorful houses and he said we would pass one that was painted all different colors (pic is below).  We stayed in a little bungalow called Hibiscus South. We had to wait at the resort until we were cleared from our COVID tests. When we arrived to our room, we greeted with chocolates and a note saying Happy 20th anniversary. I was a great touch!
